The space
Affairs to Remember is a very large, modern beachfront house, with more than 3000sq ft of living space including a big beachside patio surrounding its private pool. Wooded lots, mature shrubs and bushes and gorgeous tropical flowers on both sides of the house screen out neighboring properties and afford a great deal of privacy. Featuring all concrete construction, 9 foot or better ceilings and tinted double glazed windows and doors this home is cool and quiet. It also boasts one of the best beaches in Belize. Wander out more than a hundred feet on a firm sandy bottom from our weed free beach and bask in sea temperatures that average 80 degrees or better year round.

The three bedrooms each have a king bed, beautiful high quality soft furnishings, complementing the custom designed precious hardwood four poster beds, closets and bureaux. The master bedroom boasts its own private oceanfront balcony and has state of the art silent a/c units. The spacious master bathroom in black marble and mahogany not only has a double indoor walk in shower but, should you wish to shower under the Caribbean sun or stars, also offers a step outside into the cleverly designed open air wet room!

Bedrooms 2 and 3, generously sized and appointed in custom made hardwoods in matching style share a second spacious balcony overlooking the pool and Caribbean sea. The second bathroom, also in black marble and mahogany, is luxuriously cool and serene.

All three bedrooms have large 4K Smart Tvs.

Downstairs, opening onto the huge, shaded outside living space, is the well appointed kitchen with up-to-the-minute appliances for ease of cooking, including safe induction stove top, a stainless steel fridge/freezer with icemaker, oven, microwave, a separate beer fridge and wine cooler for entertaining on the patio, dishwasher and plenty of preparation space.

A spacious storage and laundry area with washer and dryer are provided behind beautiful custom made cabinetry.

The generous open plan living and dining space offers large screened windows and floor to ceiling sunrise-facing windows which slide completely to one side allowing light to flood the living and dining areas, and the cool breeze to circulate. The natural marble floors, along with the Caribbean breeze mean the house is naturally cooled all day. The owners have custom built a massive corner sofa unit to stretch out and watch the big-screen tv. Local tastefully created artwork adorn the walls, and outside, ample seating under hardwood shade creates a convivial atmosphere to enjoy entertaining, dining or sunset cocktails.

There is also a large relaxing area and beach loungers around the poolside. The cleverly designed chlorine free freshwater infinity pool allows you to relax in the sun, cocktail in hand, and gaze out to distant cayes. The pool has a digital controller to light the water in a myriad of colors for magical evening dips. To top it all, a huge mahogany tree trunk, halved and polished acts as your Caribbean poolside bar, replete with bar stools. You will see that everything about the design of Affairs to Remember affords flexibility for friends and family to relax, take in the views and enjoy quality time on your vacation.

All water in the house is filtered and safe for you to enjoy.

The BASE RATE for the house and 2 guests is $625 per night.
Additonal guests are $30 per person, per night.

The base rate is subject to 9% hotel tax.
